The Cudgen Compound gathers a family of farmhouse forms — gabled roofs, rendered masonry and climbing greenery — around a sequence of courtyards on the Cudgen plateau. The composition reads as an estate that has always been there, settled into its rural edge with hedged drives and mature planting.
At its heart, an arcaded courtyard holds the pool and outdoor rooms in the manner of a Mediterranean farmhouse: arches, stone, olive tones and long lunches. It is the studio's rural register — the same discipline, a different pace.
