In order to provide the ultimate in luxury living, a strategy of constructing two individual, free-standing, two-storey homes with incorporated carports at ground level was adopted. This approach allowed for the efficient utilization of space, with 35-40m2 of car storage being shifted outside of the town planning buildable footprint, thereby freeing up an additional 35m2 of area for a spacious, open-plan living, kitchen, and dining area at ground level.
The exterior of these homes exudes a sense of exclusivity, inspired by the concept of Palm Springs, with the use of premium materials such as vertical timber cladding, white textured render, and vertical timber battens with variations of curves. Each dwelling maintains a cohesive architectural language while still allowing for subtle differences, ensuring each resident has their own unique identity while maintaining construction efficiencies on site. The use of face brickwork and feature stone is purposeful and serves to signify the entries to each home, with variations in materials, form, window placement, and street presence further emphasizing the exclusivity of these homes.
